Unknown man fires automatic rifle at family home in Tetovo
Unknown shooter on a moped opened fire at a private house in Tetovo; six projectiles recovered and sent for forensic testing.
An unknown man fired an automatic rifle at a family home in Tetovo early on Saturday, the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
The incident was reported to the Tetovo Regional Police Department (SVR Tetovo) at about 4:20 a.m. According to the report, the suspect was riding a moped and discharged several rounds at the house of 48-year-old Sh.B., then fled the scene.
Damage and evidence collected
Police officers who inspected the site recorded damage to the metal gate of the yard, the house façade, the porch and a parked BMW. Investigators collected six projectiles from the scene, which will be sent for forensic examination.
Authorities say they are taking measures to clarify the case and locate the person responsible. No arrests have been announced so far and no further details about a possible motive were released.
Local investigators continue to inquire with neighbours and review any available footage from private and public cameras as part of the ongoing probe.
