Macedonian passport ranked 64th — 114 destinations visa-free or with eased entry
Passport Reports: Macedonian passport has mobility index 57.6% and allows visa-free or simplified entry to 114 destinations.

Citizens of North Macedonia can travel to as many as 114 countries either visa-free or using simplified entry procedures, according to the latest Passport Reports ranking.
Key figures from the ranking
The Macedonian passport is placed 64th worldwide and has a mobility index of 57.6 percent. Passport Reports evaluates passports from 199 countries in 34 languages and bases its ranking on access without a visa, with visa on arrival, or through other eased entry arrangements.
Looking closer at the destinations counted in the calculation, of a total of 198 foreign destinations included, 79 are accessible to citizens of North Macedonia without a visa. A further 29 allow entry with visa on arrival or through other eased arrangements, and 6 require an electronic travel authorization.
That leaves 84 destinations for which travellers from North Macedonia must obtain a visa in advance. The figures show the practical reach of the Macedonian passport for short visits, tourism and certain types of business travel.
Experts and travel advisers say such rankings are useful as a snapshot but advise travellers to verify entry rules before departure, because visa policies and electronic authorisations can change and often depend on the purpose and length of the stay.
