Orce Stevkovski and Dragica “Drakche”: over 40 years of marriage

Orce Stevkovski and his wife Dragica Stevkovska — widely known as Drakche — have been among North Macedonia’s most stable celebrity couples for decades. Their relationship began in the previous century and they exchanged vows on May 15, 1984.

Long partnership, family centre stage

The couple have built long and successful careers while keeping their private life largely free of scandal. Stevkovski is often referred to by the public as "Tsarot" and remains a fixture on stage, while Dragica has continued to engage audiences with her popular culinary programme.

Beyond work, the two prioritise family: their marriage produced two daughters, Angelina and Aleksandra, and today they are proud grandparents to five grandchildren. Two years ago, on the anniversary of their milestone, Dragica shared a rare wedding photograph and publicly congratulated her husband, underlining that true love can be timeless.

Stevkovski has also been active musically. He recently released a new song titled "Pesna za Rotino" ("Song for Rotino"). The piece is dedicated to the village of Rotino, located at the foot of Mount Baba and Pelister near Bitola, and celebrates roots, tradition and memories associated with the region.

With careers that continue to draw audiences and a family life they cherish, Orce and Dragica remain a familiar presence in the cultural life of North Macedonia — both on stage and at home with their grandchildren.
