Patients from Gostivar who need surgical interventions or are due to give birth are being transferred to the Tetovo Clinical Hospital due to problems with drinking water in Gostivar.

The Tetovo Clinical Hospital is fully operational 24 hours a day

Erzan Elezi, director of the Tetovo Clinical Hospital, says the hospital is open 24 hours and accepts all patients who require more serious surgical interventions.

"Recently, most of the patients from Gostivar are in our departments of surgery, orthopedics, gynecology and urology. These are patients who are sent to us for surgical operations and women who need to give birth. This is because Gostivar is experiencing some problems with sterilization and with contaminated water. Because of this, all such patients are sent to us at the Tetovo hospital. We are fully mobilized here and provide assistance to everyone, and our operating rooms are open 24 hours for all patients, including those from Gostivar," says director Elezi.

According to Elezi, the majority of patients coming from Gostivar are cared for in the departments of surgery, orthopedics, gynecology and urology — sectors that cover both scheduled and emergency surgical interventions, as well as deliveries.

The hospital emphasizes that the operating rooms and medical teams are available around the clock to receive and care for patients referred from Gostivar until the problems with sterilization and drinking water are resolved.
