In Centar 120 improperly parked vehicles were towed in one week
PE Parking Centar says 120 improperly parked cars were removed from 26 October to 1 November 2026 as part of daily towing to ease congestion.

Public Enterprise Parking of the Municipality of Centar (PE Parking Centar) announced that between 26 October and 1 November 2026 its tow trucks removed 120 vehicles that had been parked improperly and obstructed normal and safe traffic flow.
Enforcement stepped up with daily removals
The operation, carried out with specialised tow trucks commonly called “pajak” in local usage, targeted cars blocking lanes, intersections and other spots that compromise road safety in the Centar municipality of Skopje.
PE Parking Centar said the action is part of intensified enforcement to reduce congestion and hazards caused by inconsiderate parking during peak hours.
“For a permanent solution to traffic congestion and the problem of improper parking greater traffic culture is necessary, therefore PE Parking Centar will continue in the coming period with daily removal of all improperly and inconsiderately parked cars in the Municipality of Centar with the aim of raising traffic awareness to a higher level and increasing traffic safety,” the public enterprise said.
Officials stressed that tow-and-remove measures are intended both to clear critical spots and to encourage drivers to follow parking rules; fines and administrative procedures remain in force for violators.
Residents and commuters in Centar were reminded to use legal parking lots and to observe restrictions to avoid being towed and charged for recovery.
