Singer Bojan Ilievski said goodbye to Goce Todorovski: "He was at every gig and loved me like his own child"

The young folk singer and winner of "Zvezdite na Grand", Bojan Ilievski, publicly said farewell to actor Goce Todorovski on social media with a post that included a photo together and an emotional message, after Todorovski was laid to rest yesterday.

In his message Ilievski expressed their closeness and the support he had received from the actor since the beginnings of his career. He described their relationship with the short sentence: "He was at every gig and loved me like his own child."

In a longer emotional confession the singer wrote, in the original text:

"Ahh uncle Goce…

You were at every gig in the restaurant where I sang in our Kisela Voda… You loved and valued me like your own child!

I remember the moment when together at the microphone we sang many songs live… You shouted about me: 'You are a golden child'…

REST IN PEACE OUR LEGEND!!!

NEVER FORGOTTEN!!!"

Unforgettable moments

From the photo Ilievski shared one can see the warmth and sincere embrace between them — a detail that testifies to the great respect and friendship. Goce Todorovski, who died at the age of 75, was regarded as a man with a big heart, a lover of good song and life, and a frequent supporter of young Macedonian talents.

His final send-off at the Butel cemetery gathered a large number of people, which further demonstrates the popularity and respect for his work. Farewells and comments like Ilievski's are part of a series of personal and public tributes to an acting legacy that will remain in the nation's memory.
