Five active, 10 extinguished — CCM daily tally of open‑space fires
CCM: 15 fires recorded by 18:00; five active incidents include a landfill blaze near Prilep that is spreading in three directions.

The Center for Crisis Management (CCM) reported that, by 18:00 today, a total of 15 open‑space fires were recorded across the country; five remained active while ten had been extinguished.
Active blazes were registered in the Municipality of Vasilevo, between the villages of Dobroshintsi and Vasilevo, where dry grass, stubble and a wild dumping site are burning; in Kichevo municipality in the area of the village Zajas, where stubble is affected; and in Kavadarci municipality between the villages Raec and Qesendre, where low‑growing forest and dry grass are on fire.
Prilep site spreading in three directions
Firefighting teams also reported an active fire in the village of Tearce, where fields, stubble and dry grass have been caught, and a separate blaze at the Trizla Teke locality near Prilep, where a landfill is burning. According to the CCM, the fire near Prilep is spreading in three directions: toward Markovi Kuli, toward the pass by the church "Bogorodica" and toward Tri Bagremi.
Meanwhile, ten fires have been brought under control at various locations around the country; municipalities where extinguished incidents were reported include Butel, Shuto Orizari, Bitola, Veles, Brvenica, Kumanovo, Staro Nagorichane, Lipkovo and Makedonski Brod.
The Center for Crisis Management appealed to residents to be careful and to behave responsibly when moving and staying outdoors, with the aim of preventing the outbreak of new fires.
