Blagoja Stanoevski, a well-known figure in North Macedonia's public and political life during the second half of the 20th century, has died. Stanoevski served as president of the Union of Youth of Macedonia within the framework of the former Yugoslavia and remained active for decades in organisations that shaped youth policy and civic activity.
