Fuel prices increase from midnight, regulator announces
Retail prices for petrol, diesel and heating oil rise from 00:00; reduced excise rates for certain fuels remain in force.

The Energy Regulatory Commission announced that retail fuel prices will increase from midnight, with petrol grades and diesel seeing the largest rises.
From 00:00 the price per litre of "Eurosuper BS-95" and "Eurosuper BS-98" will rise by 4.50 denars, while "eurodiesel (D-E V)" will increase by 6.50 denars and the extra-light heating oil "EL-1" by 6.00 denars.
New retail prices
After the change, a litre of "Eurosuper BS-95" will cost 91.50 denars, "Eurosuper BS-98" 93.50 denars, "eurodiesel BS (D-E V)" 98.00 denars, and the extra-light 1 ("EL-1") 98.50 denars.
The price of "mazut M-1 NS" will rise by 0.188 denars per kilogram, bringing its retail price to 43.726 denars per kg.
The Commission also decided to continue applying a reduced excise duty: a lowered excise of 2.00 den./l for the petrol grades "Eurosuper BS-95" and "Eurosuper BS-98" and a reduced excise of 4.00 den./l for "eurodiesel (D-E V)".
The regulator said the changes take effect at midnight; consumers and transport operators should expect higher refuelling costs from the start of the day.
