No football at Avtokomanda again: Skopje vs Tikvesh to be played at FFM

Skopje's home fixture against Tikvesh will not be played at Avtokomanda as originally planned; the Football Federation of North Macedonia (FFM) has confirmed the match will take place at the federation's training centre "Petar Milosevski" in Skopje.

The decision follows the club's assessment that the Avtokomanda venue is not yet ready to host a Macedonian First Football League (PMFL) match of this level. Skopje had hoped to stage the return to the top flight at its own ground, but infrastructure shortcomings forced a change of venue.

Earlier this season Skopje also moved its game against Struga TL to the FFM facility, a repeat of that arrangement for the coming fixture.

Logistics and timing

The Round 4 PMFL match between Skopje and Tikvesh is scheduled for tomorrow (Friday, 21.08.2026) at the FFM training centre, with kick-off set for 17:00.

Local supporters of Skopje — known as "the Pirates" — expressed disappointment that another home match will be staged away from Avtokomanda, where the club had intended to welcome fans for the revived top‑flight campaign.

The federation's training centre will again provide the pitch and matchday operations for the fixture, as the club continues preparations for future home hosting.
