Variable clouds with localized storms and gusts up to 40 km/h

Today will be variably cloudy with occasional rain across the country. Locally, showers may develop into storms with heavy downpours (over 15 liters per square meter), thunder and gusty winds. A moderate wind will blow, and along the Vardar valley it will be intermittently stronger from the northwest, at times reaching speeds of 40 kilometres per hour. Minimum temperatures are expected between 12 and 19 °C, while daytime highs will range from 27 to 33 °C.
Skopje forecast
In Skopje the sky will be changeable with intermittent rain. In parts of the basin the precipitation may take the form of storms with heavy downpours, thunder and strong gusts. The minimum temperature will drop to 19 °C, while the maximum will reach about 26 °C.
Daytime temperatures will trend downwards. Afterwards a period of sunny weather with light to moderate cloudiness will follow. On Tuesday and Thursday localized rain showers are possible — announced the Hydrometeorological Service (UHMR).
Drivers and pedestrians should be prepared for reduced visibility and slippery roads where heavy rain falls. Expect milder conditions after the brief unsettled spell.
