PSG eye Ibrahim Maza as replacement for Kvicha Kvaratskhelia
Paris Saint‑Germain plan to open negotiations for Bayer Leverkusen forward Ibrahim Maza after Kvicha Kvaratskhelia tore ligaments and will be sidelined for the season.

Paris Saint-Germain are preparing an urgent response to the season-ending injury to Kvicha Kvaratskhelia and have identified Ibrahim Maza as one of the leading candidates to join the club as a replacement.
Kvaratskhelia suffered torn ligaments in the Champions League meeting with Barcelona and is expected to miss the remainder of the current campaign, leaving PSG short in attack.
Why Maza is on PSG's radar
The 20-year-old Algerian international, who represents Bayer Leverkusen at club level, has been in strong form this season. Born in Berlin and a former youth international for Germany before switching to Algeria, Maza combines youth with top-flight experience.
German outlets report that PSG plan to open serious negotiations in the coming period to try to secure his transfer. Given his age and rising profile, the move would likely require a significant fee.
Earlier, Carrick and Bruno Fernandes held a "one-on-one" meeting.
