13 wildfires recorded in North Macedonia: 12 extinguished, one under control
The Center for Crisis Management reported 12 fires extinguished and a single blaze near Belica and Jasen still under control.

Thirteen wildfires were recorded across North Macedonia in the past 24 hours, the Center for Crisis Management reported. Of those, 12 have been extinguished and one is currently under control.
The remaining blaze is located near the villages of Belica and Jasen. Authorities say the fire is still burning but is under control, affecting low-stemmed and mixed forest in the area.
No active fires reported elsewhere
The Center for Crisis Management confirmed there are no other active fires on open ground. Firefighters and response teams have brought the majority of incidents under control or fully extinguished them within the reporting period.
Officials did not provide further details on the cause of the fires or on any damage to property or infrastructure in their initial statement.
The Center said it will continue to monitor the situation and update the public if conditions change.
