SDSM: Urgent investigation into attackers who assaulted young people in Novo Selo
SDSM asks the Public Prosecutor's Office and the police to quickly identify and apprehend those who attacked young activists in Novo Selo.

SDSM is calling for an urgent investigation and the apprehension of the persons who attacked young party activists during Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski's visit to Novo Selo.
The party claims the attack was "ordered" and names the driver
At today’s press conference SDSM demanded that the Public Prosecutor's Office and the police immediately locate and arrest the attackers. The party states that the young people were carrying a banner with the message that the water in Gostivar is poisoned when they were attacked.
Keti Shterjova from SDSM directly called on prosecutors to act quickly and reiterated the party’s demand that they be treated without selectivity. She said: "The only thing these young people did was carry a banner with the message that the water in Gostivar is poisoned. The response of the organized criminal group VMRO was immediate: a group of thugs, on the orders of Hristijan Mickoski, attacked young people. Mickoski has crossed every line. We demand that the police and the Prosecutor's Office react immediately. The Prosecutor's Office must immediately find the attackers who, on Mickoski's orders, attacked the young people in Novo Selo. Yesterday the Prosecutor's Office, with lightning speed, found the person who insulted Mickoski. Today we expect the same speed."
The party also provided specific names: "It is already known that the attack also involved a driver of a VMRO mayor of Strumica — Nasko Dimitriev. So — they will find them easily. Panche Toshkovski, instead of dealing with hyperchlorination, water analyses and letting the water run from the pipes, should do his job and, today, find the attackers and their instigators. The police and the Prosecutor's Office must do their job. No selectivity. No protection. Violence carried out on orders must not go unpunished — regardless of whether the instigator is Prime Minister Mickoski," SDSM said.
The party also published a video of the incident yesterday on its Facebook page and is calling on the competent authorities to immediately identify and arrest the attackers, as well as to investigate any possible coordination or orders behind the attack.
