SDSM: Fall of Aleksandar Vučić will lead to unraveling of alleged criminal ties with Hristijan Mickoski

SDSM says the electoral defeat of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić would trigger investigations in Serbia that, in turn, will expose and untangle alleged criminal collaborations between Serbian authorities and VMRO‑DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski. The claim was voiced at a press conference by SDSM spokesperson and Executive Board member Bogdanka Kuzeska.

Party lists alleged schemes, energy deals and media links

At the briefing, SDSM presented a string of accusations covering allegedly corrupt public tenders, energy-sector businesses, commercial networks and influence over parts of the media and political space that they say will be revealed once Vučić loses power.

Translating their statement, SDSM said: "The time is coming to dismantle the Balkan criminal octopus and accountability. For the criminal tenders. For Adamović, Rudnap, Bozhinovska, the business networks of Mickoski that lead to Serbia. For businesses in electricity, energy, meters. It is clear why 5 tons of drugs cross the border and end up with SNS in Serbia, and no one is held responsible. Everyone understands why Alta Bank entered North Macedonia, while it was stopped in Europe. The same matrix, the same pattern. Copy-paste in North Macedonia. The same dark capital is invested in the same bank."

SDSM also accused parts of the media of running a negative campaign against SDSM and Health Minister Venko Filipche, alleging ties between those media outlets, Serbian media groups and online networks used for political propaganda.

The party further claimed that, following the Serbian example, so‑called satellite parties have been created in North Macedonia to split the opposition vote, naming ZNAM, the "Conversations for the Future" platform and Levica as examples of what they describe as a coordinated political model tied to Vučić's circle.

In a further statement SDSM said: "Behind all this stands one criminal organization. Its part in North Macedonia is VMRO — an organized criminal group, and the boss of the Macedonian gang is Mickoski. Consequences, investigations and a reckoning with the criminal organization will follow. All those outcomes will finish in North Macedonia with Mickoski's collaborators."
