Wildfires remain active near Čaška, Lipkovo and Debar — CCM
39 wildfires recorded in the past 24 hours; three active, one under control and 35 extinguished as of 7:30 a.m.

The Crisis Management Center (CCM) reported this morning that 39 wildfires were recorded across the country in the previous 24 hours. As of 7:30 a.m., three fires remain active, one has been brought under control and the other 35 have been extinguished.
Active blazes concentrated in three municipalities
Of the three active fires, one is burning in the municipality of Čaška, in the vicinity of the village Jabolchishte at a location known as Bikov Grob, where beech and oak stands, brushwood and low vegetation are on fire. Another active blaze is near the village Strima in Lipkovo municipality, at the site called Guri Kuk, where pine and low-stemmed forest have been burning for several days.
The third continuing fire is in the Debar area, close to the village Gorno Kosovrasti at the place called Krushno i Vlozhno, where mixed forest is affected.
Meanwhile, a fire between the villages Drachevica and Cvetovo in the Studenicani municipality, at the location Kaldired, has been brought under control; that site had low vegetation burned.
The remaining 35 incidents that were extinguished occurred in several municipalities and mainly involved low vegetation, low-stemmed forest, stubble fields, garbage and open dumps.
