Iljami Isejni names North Macedonia U17 squad for Trabzon
North Macedonia U17 will face Hungary, San Marino and Turkey in Trabzon from 11–17 November.
Head coach Iljami Isejni has named the North Macedonia under-17 squad that will take part in the UEFA qualifying mini-tournament in Trabzon, Turkey, from 11 to 17 November.
The team were drawn in a group with hosts Turkey, Hungary and San Marino. Isejni confirmed the list of players selected for the assignment on 6 November 2026.
Goalkeepers: Ilan Memeti (Lozana), Dimitar Petrov (AP Brera), Petar Taleski (Shkëndija).
Defenders: Mateja Masev (Crvena Zvezda), Amar Akiki (Shkëndija), Leart Iseini (Bochum), Mihajlo Pavlov (Zelezničar Pančevo), Filip Gjorgjioski (Vardar), Adrian Veleski (Vardar), Ilija Aksentiev (Makedonija GP).
Midfielders: Marin Krstevski (Crvena Zvezda), Aleksandar Polimac (IMT), Dardan Ademi (Aresimi 1973), Matej Bocheski (AP Brera), Bobi Nedanovski (Pelister), Ognen Sivevski (Makedonija GP), Matej Nikolov (Vardar), Džihan Ibraimi (Vardar), Blagojche Sedloski (Skopje).
Forwards: Stefan Ristić (Partizan) and Ron Memedi (Belasica).
Schedule and logistics
The match schedule for the group is as follows: 11 November — Hungary vs North Macedonia (10:00); 14 November — North Macedonia vs San Marino (10:00); 17 November — North Macedonia vs Turkey (12:00).
The squad will assemble on 8 November at 10:00 at Hotel Park in Skopje. A training session at the Football Federation of North Macedonia (FFM) training centre is planned the same day at 14:00.
Under UEFA's U17 qualifying format, the top two teams in each group progress to the second qualifying round — League A. The third- and fourth-placed teams move into League B. In the second qualifying round in spring 2027, the 28 League A teams will be divided into seven groups; the seven group winners will qualify for the final tournament, joining hosts Latvia. The final tournament is scheduled for 24 May to 6 June 2027.
