Celine Dion falters onstage in Paris and asks audience for support
On her Paris comeback run the 58-year-old briefly lost balance and, overcome with emotion, asked the audience for help when she couldn't recall lyrics.

Fans and onlookers expressed concern after Celine Dion showed visible difficulty on stage during one of her recent concerts in Paris, where the 58-year-old singer is completing a run of comeback performances.
During the show at La Défense Arena, Dion momentarily lost her balance while performing the song "Un autre monde" but quickly steadied herself and signalled to the crowd with a thumbs-up to indicate she was all right.
Emotional moment amid recovery
Later in the set, an emotional surge left Dion unable to recall the lyrics to one of her best-known songs. Overcome with feeling, she thanked the audience and then admitted, "I'm forgetting the words," covering her face with her hands as the crowd responded by singing along to support her.
After the audience carried the song, Dion addressed those in attendance: "Thank God you're here. I'm sorry." The scenes were widely shared online and sparked an outpouring of support from fans.
Dion's return to live shows follows a lengthy period of treatment and rehabilitation after she was forced to cancel a previous tour because of stiff person syndrome (SPS), a rare neurological condition that causes muscle stiffness and painful spasms. To prepare for the comeback she went through intensive physical therapy, vocal work, immunotherapy and regular training.
There have been no official changes announced to her Paris schedule, but the recent moments on stage have renewed questions about how long she will sustain a demanding run of performances. Footage from the concert circulated quickly on social media, prompting many messages wishing her a smooth and as-pain-free recovery as possible.
