Family from Serbia seriously injured in crash near Bitola — two Bitola residents also hurt
The Ministry of Internal Affairs confirms the accident was reported on 15.08 at 17:09 and that among the injured are three from Belgrade and two from Bitola.
Three citizens of Serbia and two Macedonian citizens were injured in a traffic accident that occurred on 15.08 on the Bitola–Prilep road, near the place called "Petilep", the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
"On 15.08 an accident was reported at 17:09 to the Bitola Police Department, and it involved a BMW passenger car with Serbian national plates, driven by 46-year-old B.S. from Belgrade, and an Opel passenger car with Bitola registration plates, driven by 48-year-old Z.M. from the village of Sveto Todori, Municipality of Mogila," the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
Condition of the injured
In the collision, the BMW driver and his passengers sustained serious bodily injuries — 46-year-old K.S. and a 15-year-old minor, all from Belgrade. Their injuries were confirmed at the Clinical Hospital in Bitola.
The Opel driver, 48-year-old Z.M., and his 31-year-old passenger M.V. from Bitola also sustained bodily injuries, the police reported.
A public prosecutor was notified about the case, and an inspection team from the Bitola Police Department examined the scene while evidence is being collected to determine the causes that led to the collision.
