Shabani among MVP candidates at EuroBasket B Division
FIBA included Dion Shabani on its MVP shortlist after the first phase in Skopje and Gevgelija; placement games restart tomorrow.

The first phase of the EuroBasket B Division, hosted in Skopje and Gevgelija, has concluded and teams now have a day off before placement games resume tomorrow in both cities.
FIBA has published a shortlist of candidates for the tournament MVP, and the list includes Macedonian guard Dion Shabani, who ranks among the competition's leading scorers not only in the red-and-yellow jersey but across the event.

FIBA also opened the selection to fans. "A large number of young talents have put their name forward, and this is your chance to pick your favourite and tell us who you think should be declared MVP on Saturday. Simply choose your favourite from the fan poll below, compiled from candidates who light up the court representing all the national teams taking part in the event," noted FIBA. Supporters can cast their votes through the federation's fan poll.
The MVP will be chosen from that shortlist and announced during the closing stages of the tournament.
Placement matches begin tomorrow in Skopje and Gevgelija, where teams will compete for final rankings and promotion places within the B Division.
