Six-month-old baby dies in Skopje; body sent for autopsy
Ministry of Internal Affairs: the infant was brought dead to Dračevo Polyclinic; the case was reported to the Skopje police on 26 August around 21:15.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that a six-month-old infant from the Skopje area was brought dead to the Dračevo Polyclinic.
The case was registered with the Skopje Police Department (SVR Skopje) on 26 August at about 21:15.
A doctor who examined the child recorded a death "without visible signs of violence."
By order of a public prosecutor, the body was handed over for autopsy, which authorities say will determine the circumstances of the death.
The police and prosecutor's office continue procedural steps while the autopsy is carried out.
