Six killed in rocket strikes in Russia's Belgorod region
Acting Belgorod governor Aleksandar Shuvaev said a 14-year-old was among the wounded and that a building burned in the village of Koloskovo.

Six people were killed and four others wounded in overnight rocket strikes on Russia's Belgorod region, the acting regional governor Aleksandar Shuvaev said early on Telegram.
Shuvaev said the strikes hit the village of Koloskovo in the Valuysky district, close to the Russia–Ukraine border. He reported that a building burned and a car was damaged there.
Among the wounded, Shuvaev said, was a 14-year-old child who was taken to hospital; medical help was also given to two other people.
Wider exchange of strikes
The attacks occurred the night after an assault officials described as the largest by Ukraine so far this year, in which at least seven people were killed. In return, Russian strikes on Ukrainian territory during the same night killed at least seven people and injured more than 39.
Moscow has stepped up rocket attacks across Ukraine in recent weeks, while Kyiv has increased strikes using unmanned aerial vehicles deep inside Russian territory. Both sides have accused the other of targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure.
Local authorities in Belgorod supplied the casualty figures and damage assessments; further details and any investigations have not been released.
