Shkendija beats Vardar — Hibernian also wins at Rangers
Shkendija beat Vardar 0:2 in Skopje and will welcome Hibernian for the Conference League third qualifying round return; Hibernian also won 1:2 away at Rangers.

Shkendija defeated Vardar 0:2 in Skopje and will host the return leg against Hibernian in a lively atmosphere as the two teams prepare for the third qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League. In the first meeting in Scotland the home side won 2:1, and the rematch is scheduled to take place at the Arena in Skopje on Thursday.
Hibernian also won away at Rangers
At the same time Shkendija was closing out its victory, Hibernian were playing an away league game in Scotland and also took three points, beating Glasgow Rangers 1:2 in a Round 2 fixture.
The goals for Hibernian came from Kembel, who converted a penalty, and Wright in the 90+3rd minute, while Rangers’ goal that made it 1:1 came in the 85th minute via an own goal by Kaiva.
Those results underline that Hibernian can be a dangerous visitor, arriving in North Macedonia with confidence after the win in Glasgow.
It is worth noting that Bojan Miovski was not included in the matchday list for Rangers for that encounter.
The tie remains open: Shkendija must defend their two-goal advantage at home, while Hibernian will look to overturn the deficit when the teams meet in Skopje later this week.
