Tearce Municipality opens first kindergarten with EU funds
Modern facility for 147 children opened after years of waiting, handed over during Children's Week.

After years of waiting, Tearce Municipality has opened its first kindergarten, a modern facility financed with EU funds. The ceremonial handover was timed to coincide with Children's Week.
Capacity, ages and staff
The new building can accommodate 147 children, of whom 20 are of Macedonian nationality. The institution will accept children from 0 to six years of age.
Twelve staff members have been hired to care for the children; the municipality says the number of employees is expected to increase soon.
Local officials described the project as a long-awaited investment in early childhood services, aiming to relieve pressure on families and improve access to preschool education in the area.
Municipal authorities also highlighted that the modern premises include facilities adapted to young children and that enrolment will be organised in the coming weeks.
