Assembly committee to consider full personal tax refund for employed mothers
Committee on Finance and Budget to consider full refund of paid personal income tax for employed mothers for first, second and third child.

The Assembly's Committee on Finance and Budget will consider proposed amendments that would fully refund the personal income tax paid by employed mothers for their first, second and third child.
Under the draft law, the refund for a first child would cover a 12‑month period, for a second child 24 months, and for a third child until the child reaches adulthood.
The proposal states the measure aims to give families extra financial support by increasing disposable income while avoiding the introduction of new direct budgetary transfers.
Changes also planned to public procurement rules
The committee will also review amendments to the Public Procurement Law that replace the current recertification with repeated examinations by a system of continuous professional development for officials involved in procurement.
Those procurement changes would also encourage broader use of digital tools and artificial intelligence, with the stated goals of improving transparency and reducing corruption risks.
The items will be discussed at the committee session, which is the next step in the parliamentary procedure for both proposed legal changes.
