The director of the Directorate for Protection and Rescue marked his 54th birthday at the seaside with his wife Jasminka after a busy summer of wildfire response.
Stojanche Angelov, director of the Directorate for Protection and Rescue, spent part of his summer break celebrating his birthday at the seaside together with his wife, Jasminka.
Holiday break after a demanding fire season
After a busy summer handling wildfire response and other professional duties, Angelov took a short vacation and posted a photo from the beach showing him smiling and in good shape, while his wife held birthday balloons shaped as the numbers 54.
Along with the image he posted a warm and characteristically witty message to followers: "Finally! A short summer break. From today I feel like I am 54! Thank you for the birthday wishes. Be healthy and well!"
He also joked about the beach atmosphere in the comments: "If you look closely you'll see there isn't much crowd on the beach. It's a bit windy."
Friends and followers reacted to the post with congratulatory messages. The couple, known for their long marriage, have said in the past that mutual support and their children are the pillars of their family life.
Although the summer months can bring unpredictable duties for Angelov because of the nature of his work, this time the family managed to enjoy some downtime and mark the occasion together on the coast.
