Stopanska Banka will pay August pensions early — funds available August 27, 2026

Stopanska Banka AD – Skopje has notified its pensioner clients that August pension payments will be available in their accounts ahead of schedule.

Many customers received an SMS with the exact date of the transfer. The message reads: "We inform you that the payment of the pension to your payment account will be on August 27, 2026."

That means pensioners who receive their monthly payments through Stopanska Banka will be able to use the funds from August 27, 2026 — to withdraw cash at ATMs or to pay in shops and other points of sale.

Clients of other banks are advised to follow official notices from their own lenders, since payment dates can differ between institutions.

Higher pensions expected in September

In addition to the early August payment, pensioners can expect an increase in September. According to the State Statistical Office, September pensions are projected to rise by about 2.96 percent.

The adjustment is calculated by law as 50% of the rise in average wages and 50% of the rise in the cost of living, which means the absolute increase depends on the current pension level: a pension of 20,000 denars would rise by about 600 denars (to approximately 20,600); a pension of 30,000 denars would rise by about 900 denars (to roughly 30,900); and a pension of 40,000 denars would rise by about 1,200 denars (to about 41,200). The final percentage will be confirmed officially by the competent institutions in the coming period.
