Struga TL hosts Belasica in Cup last 16 — Kendrim Ismajli: only a win
On Oct 28 at 13:30 Struga TL meets second-division Belasica in the Macedonian Cup; Ismajli says the squad is ready and focused.
Struga TL will host Belasica of Strumica tomorrow, October 28, 2026, at 13:30 local time at the City Stadium in Struga in a Macedonian Cup round-of-16 fixture.
Struga enter the tie as clear favourites, driven by a club objective to not only reach the final but to lift the trophy — a prize the town has missed after losing two previous Cup finals to Makedonija G.P. and Vardar.
Team and intent
Left-back Kendrim Ismajli spoke ahead of the game, underlining the squad's preparation and singular target.
“We prepared very well over these three days, I think we have a good enough squad to go all the way in the Cup and bring it to Struga, because this city needs it. All of us are 100% focused on qualifying for the next round. Full respect to the opponent, whom we do not underestimate in any way, but we enter this match only for victory, to continue the positive run in the league and in the Cup.”
Belasica arrive as a second-division side from Strumica, and Struga will be expected to manage the tie and progress. The winner of the match will advance to the Cup last eight.
The match kicks off at 13:30 on October 28 at the City Stadium in Struga.
