Tetovo police charge 39-year-old with fraud after €3,000 advance payment
A 59-year-old resident paid €3,000 as an advance for goods that were never delivered, police say.
The Tetovo police filed a criminal complaint against M.S. (39), from Turkey and residing in Tetovo, on suspicion of fraud.
According to the complaint, at the beginning of January 2026 M.S. allegedly defrauded a 59-year-old resident of Tetovo of €3,000.
Advance payment for goods that never arrived
Police say the two men agreed on a purchase inside a retail shop in Tetovo. The 59-year-old paid €3,000 as an advance; the remainder of the agreed price was to be paid after delivery.
When the goods were not delivered, the complaint states, the accused did not return the advance payment.
The case is registered with the Tetovo police department, which has submitted the complaint to the competent authorities for further handling.
