Tatjana Boškov elected chair of Supervisory Board at Macedonian Navigation (M‑NAV)

Tatjana Boškov has been elected chair of the Supervisory Board of Macedonian Navigation (M‑NAV), the national provider of air navigation services. The board chose her during a session on 5 August, after the government appointed her as a board member in June.

Academic background and professional roles

Boškov is a full professor of finance at Goce Delchev University in Shtip and previously served two terms as dean. Her academic work and education are rooted in economics and finance, with a focus on international finance, macroeconomic policy, financial management and economic development.

Those competences were highlighted as relevant for supervising the company’s financial operations. At the same time, Boškov’s professional biography does not list formal education or prior professional experience in aviation, air traffic control or air navigation — the technical fields in which M‑NAV operates.

Alongside her university position, Boškov is deputy chair of the Council for Tourism at the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and is involved in preparing the National Strategy for Tourism Development 2027–2032.

The appointment completes a short timeline: the government named her to M‑NAV’s Supervisory Board in June, and the board elected her chair on August 5. Separately, the government previously borrowed €7 million from Macedonian Navigation.
