Serious traffic accident in Butel — four injured, including a child
Collision between a Citroën passenger car and a Honda motorcycle on Hristijan Todorovski Karposh Street — police carried out an inspection at the scene.
In a serious traffic accident in the Skopje neighborhood of Butel on 05.08.2026, four people were injured, including a child, the police reported.
"On 05.08.2026 at 13:30 the Skopje Police Department received a report that on Hristijan Todorovski Karposh Street in Skopje a traffic accident occurred between a Citroën passenger vehicle with Skopje license plates, driven by 29-year-old A.B.M., and a Honda motorcycle driven by E.A. (24), both from Skopje. In the accident, the motorcyclist and his passenger R.I. (23) from Skopje sustained serious bodily injuries, while A.B.M. and her minor passenger from Skopje sustained bodily injuries, diagnosed at the Emergency Center at the 'Mother Teresa' Clinical Complex, Skopje and at the Public Health Institution City General Hospital 'St. Naum Ohridski', Skopje. An inspection was carried out by a team from the Skopje Police Department," reads the police bulletin.
Injuries and intervention
According to the police report, the motorcyclist and his passenger sustained serious bodily injuries and were taken to medical services for assessment and treatment. The driver of the passenger vehicle and her minor passenger were recorded as having bodily injuries and received assistance at the aforementioned emergency center and hospital.
An inspection at the scene was carried out by a team from the Skopje Police Department to determine the circumstances of the collision. Details on the causes or possible traffic violations have not been released so far.
Part of the traffic in that area of the city was stopped while emergency services and the inspection team worked on site. The police appeal to drivers to be careful and call on anyone with information about the accident to report to the Skopje Police Department.
