Serious traffic accident on the "Mother Teresa" Highway — three drivers seriously injured
Collision near the Glumovo toll ramp on the evening of 1 August; the three were taken to hospitals in Tetovo and Skopje.
A serious traffic accident occurred last night on the "Mother Teresa" Highway, in the immediate vicinity of the Glumovo toll ramp, in the direction toward Skopje. According to information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the accident was reported on 1 August at 20:20.
The accident involved a Mercedes passenger car with Tetovo registration plates, driven by 35-year-old N.A. from Poroj, Tetovo; a Ducati motorcycle with Skopje registration plates, driven by 45-year-old D.A. from Skopje; and a Honda motorcycle with Skopje registration plates, driven by 43-year-old I.P.
Injuries and treatment
All three drivers were seriously injured. After first aid was administered, they were transported to the Clinical Center in Tetovo and to the City General Hospital "St. Naum Ohridski" in Skopje, where they were diagnosed with serious bodily injuries.
The information about the participants and the time of the report was provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. At the moment there are no additional details about the current condition of the injured or about the exact circumstances that led to the collision.
Additional information is expected after the completion of the on-site inspection at the scene of the incident.
