BMW with Tetovo plates blocks eight cars in Ulcinj parking; tourists hunt for driver

A BMW with Tetovo license plates was filmed blocking the exit of a parking lot in Ulcinj, Montenegro, trapping eight other cars and stirring a search for the owner among holidaymakers.

The clip spread quickly and drew mixed reactions

The video shared on social media shows the BMW positioned so that other vehicles could not leave the lot. The woman who recorded the footage chose not to call the police immediately and instead asked people online to help locate the driver.

In the recording she says, "If anyone knows the driver or happens to see him, tell him to come and move the car. We don't want to call the police, but if he doesn't show up, we'll be forced to." She added that she did not want to cause trouble for someone who is a tourist in a foreign country.

She also warned that police involvement might lead to the vehicle being removed by a tow service and the owner having to pay fines and reclaim the car: "We know how it is when you are in another country. If the police come, the vehicle may be taken away by a tow service, and then he will have to pay a fine and look for the car. That's why we're trying to find the person first," the woman explains in the video.

According to her account, two people went looking through Ulcinj to find the owner, but they judged their chances slim because of the heavy tourist crowds and the possibility that the driver was at Velika Plaža or in the town center.

The post quickly collected comments. Many users criticized the parking as irresponsible and said such behavior causes delays and tensions in busy tourist spots, while others praised the recorder's attempt to resolve the situation without immediately involving authorities.
