Tikvesh bids farewell to captain Daniel Mojsov
Before the August 31, 2026 match in Kavadarci the club presented gifts and a framed No.5 shirt while fans "Lozarite" paid tribute.

Tikvesh held a brief ceremony on August 31, 2026 in Kavadarci to bid farewell to their long-time captain, Daniel Mojsov, who has been sent into playing retirement.
Before the First League match against Vardar, the club presented Mojsov with commemorative gifts and a framed No. 5 shirt. Supporters' group "Lozarite" displayed a banner reading "THANK YOU — Daniel Mojsov!" as part of the farewell.
Mojsov had announced at the end of the previous season that he would bring his long and successful career to a close; Tikvesh waited for the fixture with Vardar to formally say goodbye to their "Dacho," a symbolic nod also to the fact he once wore Vardar's shirt in 2010.
Alongside his teammates and with his brother Gjorgji — who served as coach in 2024 — Mojsov helped deliver the club's greatest achievement: winning the Macedonian Cup and securing Tikvesh's first-ever appearance in European club competition.
Born in Kavadarci, Mojsov began his career at Tikvesh. He later spent four seasons with Makedonija GP, where he won the league title in the Macedonian First Football League (PMFL). After a short spell at Vardar he moved on to Vojvodina, and subsequently had successful stints abroad with Brann (Norway), Lierse (Belgium), Adana Demirspor (Turkey) and AEK Larnaca (Cyprus) before returning to Bregalnica and rejoining Tikvesh in 2023.
Mojsov finished his playing career in May 2026 at the age of 38. He also earned 39 caps for the North Macedonia A national team and has been regarded as one of the country's best defenders of the past two decades.
