Singer Marijan Stojanoski announced on social media that his four‑year‑old son, Petar, has died unexpectedly. The brief family notices and reactions on Facebook left colleagues, friends and fans shocked.

Petar was born in December 2021. So far no further details about the cause of his premature death have been released.

Marijan and Natasha, who married in 2020, are parents to three children: two daughters and their son Petar. In recent years Marijan largely stepped away from the entertainment spotlight to focus on family life and his work in the choir of the National Opera and Ballet.
He first appeared on the Macedonian music scene at the same time as the best Macedonian singer Toše Proeski and was once considered by many experts to possess a similarly strong vocal talent. His hits — "Podarok", "Nenasiten" and "Srce kje ti ukradam" — remain part of his musical legacy.
