According to initial reports, the man was driving a Škoda Fabia when the vehicle ran off the carriageway for reasons that remain unknown.
He suffered severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigation and autopsy
The deceased's body was handed over for an autopsy. Police and traffic investigators carried out an on-site inspection to establish the circumstances that led to the crash.
