Three-month delay in payments for assistants of persons with disabilities
The Menuvame coalition demands payments by 3:00 PM today and warns of a protest outside the Ministry of Social Policy, Demography and Youth if funds are not released.

The Menuvame coalition has raised alarm over a three-month delay in the payments intended for assistants of persons with disabilities.
According to the coalition, assistants in Skopje have not received compensation for May, June and July. In addition, assistants across the entire country were not paid for July.
Demand for immediate payment
Menuvame is demanding that the outstanding payments be executed by 3:00 PM today. The coalition warned that if the funds are not released by that deadline, it will organize a protest in front of the Ministry of Social Policy, Demography and Youth.
Requests for comment have been sent to the Ministry and a response is expected during the day.
The coalition’s public call and the planned protest mark an escalation of pressure on state institutions to resolve the delayed transfers for assistants who support people with disabilities.
