Uli Hoeneß in court again over two newly planted linden trees
A neighbour filed an urgent suit in the Regional Court in Munich claiming the linden trees block his view; a judge will rule on 24 September.

Uli Hoeneß, the 74-year-old honorary president of Bayern Munich, found himself facing an unusual legal dispute after a neighbour from the upscale Bad Wiessee area on Lake Tegernsee filed an urgent lawsuit over two recently planted linden trees.
Dispute over view and property restriction
The neighbour asked the Regional Court in Munich to order Hoeneß to remove the two trees immediately and to prohibit any further planting on that portion of the property, arguing that the new trees obstruct his view and thus reduce the value of his property. The complaint cites a restriction recorded in the land register dating back to 1975.
Hoeneß attended the hearing in person with his wife, Zusi, and firmly rejected the allegations, calling the whole matter "pure nonsense and provocation." He told the court the linden trees were planted to replace an older tree that had to be felled after being destroyed in a snowstorm.
The parties were unable to reach an out-of-court settlement during the roughly 70-minute hearing. The presiding judge announced she will hand down a decision on the urgent request on 24 September.
The episode has placed another spotlight on the veteran Bayern figure, albeit over a domestic neighbour dispute rather than football matters. Court proceedings will continue until the judge issues the formal ruling.
