List No. 9/2026, published on 10 September, records a net debt increase of 448.069.273 denars compared with the previous list.

Public Revenue Office: 5,240 debtors with 13.641.590.644 denars outstanding

The Public Revenue Office (UJP) published the latest List of Debtors No. 9/2026, showing a total of 5,240 companies and individuals with a combined net debt of 13.641.590.644 denars, or about 222 million euros. The list was released on 10 September and covers liabilities that fell due by 31 May 2026 and remained unpaid until 31 August.

Compared with the previous publication, the total net amount rose by 448.069.273 denars — an increase the Office notes occurred within a single month, equivalent to more than 7.2 million euros.

The list includes 2,008 legal entities and 3,232 natural persons. The number of corporate debtors increased by two, while the count of individuals rose by 38 compared with the previous list.

Breakdown of the outstanding sums

Of the total outstanding amount, 13.458.337.534 denars relate to taxes and social contributions, while 183.253.110 denars stem from customs duties. The Office publishes separate totals to clarify the composition of arrears.

The published List of Debtors No. 9/2026 applies the statutory publication thresholds: natural persons and sole proprietors with debts exceeding 120.000 denars, and legal entities with debts above 300.000 denars are included. The Office said the list covers amounts due through 31 May 2026 that remained unpaid by 31 August.
