Folk star Vasilija Petrova delivered a memorable performance in Delchevo, holding the audience spellbound as they sang along to her set.
The crowd accompanied her “from the first to the last verse,” joining every chorus of classic Macedonian songs, and the mood reached a new high when her colleague Blagoja Grujovski joined her on stage for a joint number.
Although Vasilija has been appearing frequently in recent weeks, she approached this appearance with the same energy and focus as if it were her first: animated, fully engaged with the crowd and constantly feeding off their reaction.
Outfit and stage presence
For the show she chose a short dress in a striking color; the outfit was detailed with ruffles and completed with elegant white high-heeled sandals. Multiple photos shared on Instagram highlighted the look and the positive response it drew from fans.
Vasilija also recently spoke openly about her life on the television programme Kafe muabeti. She was born in Kyustendil but said she feels at home in Macedonia and does not hide her Macedonian roots.
When asked whether she considers herself Macedonian or Bulgarian, she answered with a song — footage of that moment accompanied the original coverage.
