Vero Center to host "INTERFESTFOOD 2026" on October 3–4

Vero Center will host the international gastro festival "INTERFESTFOOD 2026" on October 3 and 4, 2026. The two-day event runs each day from 10:00 to 18:00 and is organised and presented by Vero Center together with HOA – Angelchinja.

Program highlights and competitions

The opening day, October 3, will feature a series of culinary competitions and showcase programmes: preparation of a national dish in a cauldron, the "Black Box" dessert decoration contest, meat grilling contests, on-site preparation of banitsi and pitas, presentations of national cuisines, and an exhibition of petit cakes and sweet pies. A Gastro Market will operate throughout the day, and the programme is complemented by musical and cultural performances.

The festival also carries a charitable component: items from the exhibition and the prepared pitas and banitsi will be donated to the humanitarian organisation Sv. Spas, giving the event a social dimension beyond gastronomy.

On October 4 the programme continues with the Gastro Market, a small-cake decoration contest between primary school pupils, a rapid dessert-eating contest, and a concert by students of the Music School "Andrijana Janevska".

Organisers say "INTERFESTFOOD 2026" aims to facilitate the exchange of experience among participants, stimulate competitive spirit and cooperation in the gastronomic sector, and create opportunities for visitors to socialise with domestic and international participants as well as recognised chefs and judges. The festival is intended for hospitality and pastry professionals, students, exhibitors from the gastronomic and tourism sectors, and the wider public.

Vero Center and the humanitarian organisation HOA – Angelchinja invite citizens to join "INTERFESTFOOD 2026" on October 3 and 4 to enjoy traditional flavours, culinary contests, presentations, music and humanitarian activities.
