Stable weather this weekend; rain expected on Monday

The Hydrometeorological Service says the weekend will bring generally stable conditions with light to moderate cloud cover across the country.
What to expect
On Monday a new weather disturbance will move in, bringing rainfall accompanied by localized instability. In some areas there will be conditions for heavy, potentially torrential downpours and thunderstorms.
Forecasters add that the most intense phenomena are expected to be scattered rather than widespread, but residents in prone areas should be alert for sudden heavy showers.
From Tuesday the outlook improves: another spell of stable, mostly sunny weather is predicted, together with a gradual rise in daytime temperatures.
The Hydrometeorological Service advises following further updates as the situation on Monday could change locally depending on small-scale developments.
