VMRO-DPMNE accuses Venko Filipche of being 'out of touch with reality'

VMRO-DPMNE sharply criticized SDSM leader Venko Filipche after his press appearance, saying the minister is disconnected from reality and repeating opposition talking points, the ruling party said in a written reaction.

Party points to statistics and accuses Filipche of following Zaev

In its statement, VMRO-DPMNE accused Filipche of parroting SDSM’s “three postulates” — which the party described as spreading lies, manipulation and disinformation — and said the minister repeats that line at every public appearance.

VMRO-DPMNE also directed a personal attack at Filipche’s circle. "It is obvious that Filipche has lost touch with reality, and that is because of his friendship with the pardoned criminal Zaev, on his million-euro yacht in Greece, who dictates what to say before the media and creates his perception, and Filipche, as his follower, repeats the same," the ruling party said.

To counter the accusations that Filipche raises, VMRO-DPMNE pointed to official data. "Here we can tell him directly that a clear rebuttal to his lies are the official statistics published by the State Statistical Office," the statement added.

On the topic of elections, VMRO-DPMNE accused Filipche and the SDSM leadership of avoiding ballots. The party said that only Filipche and "the scum of SDSM" do not want elections and are fleeing them, and that it is already clear from public mood what kind of defeat they expect to suffer at the hands of voters.
