Hit-and-run in Prilep: driver struck pedestrian N.T.(72) on Goce Delchev Boulevard and fled

An unknown driver ran over a pedestrian on Goce Delchev Boulevard in Prilep and fled the scene, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVR) reported.
Investigation
According to the police report, the case was logged at OVR Prilep on 07.09.2026 at 03:50 after a passenger vehicle struck the pedestrian identified as N.T.(72) from Prilep.
The victim sustained serious injuries and was examined and treated at General Hospital Prilep.
An on-site inspection was carried out by an OVR Prilep team. Authorities say measures are under way to clarify the circumstances of the crash and to locate the driver who left the scene.
Police urged anyone with information to come forward as the inquiry continues.
