Stojancho Radichevski vows a campaign without insults as he presents Brvenica programme

Stojancho Radichevski, the VMRO-DPMNE candidate for mayor of Brvenica, presented his electoral programme this evening and pledged to continue ongoing projects while launching new investments in infrastructure, the local economy, education and digital services. He said he will run a dignified campaign free of insults and divisions, urging that attention remain on the municipality’s future.

Radichevski delivered the programme at a public event attended by VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski. In his remarks he appealed for respectful debate and a civic tone, recalling the municipality’s late mayor.

Concrete works and social measures

He outlined road construction, reconstruction and rehabilitation planned for the villages of Chelopek, Tenovo, Stenche, Volkovija and Blace, and said sewer networks will be extended or completed in Sedlarce, Brvenica, Chelopek, Blace and Miletino. Radichevski also proposed renovation and extension of the municipal building, construction of a water supply system in Chelopek and development of infrastructure in the Brvenica industrial zone to attract investors and create jobs.

On social and economic measures he announced a local innovation fund “Youth with Ideas”, a business incubator “My Business, My Municipality”, a centre for knowledge and practical skills, and support programmes for female entrepreneurship and rural development under the “Village with Business” initiative. He also promised a new kindergarten in Chelopek, expansion of the Brvenica kindergarten, a care home for up to 50 residents, and investments in energy efficiency and accessibility at schools for children with special needs.

Radichevski said the municipality will expand digital services: free public Wi‑Fi at public spots, an e‑services platform, an open data system and a civic participation portal called “You Are Part of the Process”. He also presented the project “Your Document — Our Work”, a digital platform intended to allow residents to apply online for documents and permits and to monitor the status of their requests.

Appealing directly to voters, Radichevski asked citizens to unite and back candidate number 1. He noted that the early mayoral election in Brvenica is scheduled for October 18. The vote was called after the then-mayor, Jovica Ilievski, died suddenly in June of this year at the age of 58.

Radichevski said: "I feel a moral obligation to lead this campaign with dignity, respect and humanity, as befits the moment we are in. I want this campaign to be without insults and divisions, to be an honest contest in which we speak about our municipality and its future. In memory of Jovica, let us show that even when we have different opinions, we can and must remain people and neighbours."

He added: "To implement all these projects I need your support and help. The programme I ask for your support for is not a list of promises, but a continuation of where we stopped. Let us preserve the strength of unity and show that united we will continue to work together."
