19-year-old woman killed after car leaves road near Sveti Nikole
Around 10:00 p.m. a Seat with Sveti Nikole plates ran off the Pishirovo–Crnilishte local road; the driver T.D. died at the scene and was sent for autopsy.
The Ministry of Interior reported that late last night, at around 10:00 p.m., a fatal traffic accident occurred on the local road between the villages of Pishirovo and Crnilishte, near Sveti Nikole.
A 19-year-old woman, identified by initials T.D., from the village of Crnilishte was driving a Seat bearing Sveti Nikole registration plates when the vehicle ran off the road. She sustained serious injuries and died at the scene.
Emergency crews and police at the scene
An Emergency Medical Service doctor pronounced T.D. dead at the location. By order of the public prosecutor, the body has been handed over for autopsy.
The incident was reported to the Sveti Nikole police department (OVR Sveti Nikole), and an investigative team from that office carried out an on-site inspection. Authorities have not released further details about possible causes of the crash or other persons involved.
Investigators will determine the exact sequence of events and the cause of the accident following the autopsy and the criminal-investigative procedures.
