A compact lifestyle in one of Europe’s most expensive addresses: a young Spaniard named Javier opened a window on daily life from the very centre of Paris, showing how he fits the essentials into a space of only 13 square metres.
He filmed the tiny apartment and uploaded the short clip that immediately sparked curiosity: viewers wanted to know where he sleeps, how he cooks and where he stores his belongings in such a limited footprint.
From daytime living to nighttime sleep — everything must pull double duty
The answer is clever design and strict discipline. Every object and piece of furniture in the studio has a precise purpose; nothing is kept that does not justify its share of the floor area. Parts of the interior change use between day and night so a single zone serves multiple functions.
Javier says he accepted these limits deliberately in order to live “in the centre of Paris” and be close to the city’s rhythm. The tiny surface does not only impress because of its size but because it highlights how far practical thinking can go when location is the priority.
