The nationwide outcome of Serbia's parliamentary vote handed a decisive win to the Student List, but the pattern among voters in North Macedonia was markedly different: Aleksandar Vučić remained the favourite at the two Serbian polling sites in the country and collected a total of 995 votes from Macedonian territory.

Local pockets of support for SNS

At the polling station located in the honorary consulate in Kumanovo, the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) recorded 487 votes, equal to 92,41% of the ballots at that location, while the Student List won 35 votes — a 14:1 ratio in favour of the candidate who lost power in Belgrade. All other options in Kumanovo received 4 votes. By comparison, SNS had an even stronger showing at the same place in 2023, when it took more than 93% of the vote.

In Skopje, at polling station 69 in the Serbian embassy, the SNS won 508 votes against 165 for the Student List — roughly a 3:1 margin. Observers note that support for Vučić among voters in Skopje declined compared with the 2023 ballot.

Across both polling sites in North Macedonia, Aleksandar Vučić obtained 995 votes in total. Nevertheless, the larger national picture in Serbia was a so-called "landslide" victory for the Student List, which secured a margin of over 615,000 votes (+14%) and ended long-term rule by Vučić's party after some opposition forces either ran and lost or boycotted the contest.

Kumanovo’s result was the second strongest pro-Vučić showing recorded outside Serbia in this election cycle; only the village of Branjevo in Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina, reported a higher share for SNS.
