Woman in Dracevo wounded by stray bullet while in her yard
J.S. (57) was treated at Dracevo Polyclinic and hospital; police say the wound was caused by a projectile and the case is under investigation.

A 57-year-old woman from Skopje was wounded by a stray bullet while sitting in the yard of her family home in the Dracevo neighbourhood on September 14, the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
The injured woman, identified only by initials J.S. (57), was taken urgently to the Dracevo Polyclinic and then to hospital, where medical staff determined the wound was caused by a projectile from a firearm.
Police say case is under investigation
The Ministry provided a timeline of events: "On September 14 at 21:45, the Skopje Police Department (SVR Skopje) received a report from the Dracevo Polyclinic that J.S. (57) from Skopje had been brought in with an injury. According to the report, at about 20:40, while she was in the yard of the family home, she felt a strike to her shoulder, and after the examination it was established that the injury was caused by a stray projectile from a firearm," the Ministry said.
Authorities said an examination at the medical facility established the presence of firearm material in the wound; further medical details were not released.
The police told reporters the case is being processed and an investigation is ongoing to establish how and from where the projectile originated.
