Water schedule in Bulachani: 12 hours on, 12 hours off
Public Utility Company Gazi Baba 2007 introduces a 12-on / 12-off rotation for the Bulachani 1 line amid extreme heat and reduced inflows.
25 August 2026 — The Public Utility Company "Gazi Baba 2007" announced a timed water-supply regime after extreme heat caused a drop in river and spring inflows and a sharp rise in consumption.
The measures primarily affect the Bulachani 1 water line and are intended to guarantee basic stability and an even distribution of the reduced resource.
Supply schedule
The company says the rotation will run on a 12/12 basis:
- With water (12 hours): from 07:00 to 19:00
- Without water (12 hours): from 19:00 to 07:00
Gazi Baba 2007 appeals to residents to use drinking water rationally and responsibly and to avoid non-essential uses such as watering gardens or filling private pools, in order to prevent further collapse of the system.
Teams from the utility, working in coordination with inspectors from the Municipality of Gazi Baba, have stepped up field supervision to monitor compliance with the new regime.
The company says the measures will remain in force until hydrological conditions improve and inflow from natural sources increases.
